A program led by the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) was unveiled in HCM City to strengthen business ties between Canada and Vietnam. This program aims to encourage investment in software processing and application technology in Vietnam. Frank Pho, managing director of BDC Venture Capital, said that the fund would bring the required investment into the telecommunications sector of Vietnam.
The economic prosperity of Vietnam as well as Canada is dependent to a large extent on small and medium-sized businesses. Hence, this similar feature would help to link the business aspects of the two nations. Canada is a leading force with regard to telecommunications.
