First International Telecom awards WiMAX smartphone deals to Quanta Computer.(TAIWAN)

First International Telecom has granted WiMAX smartphone deals to Quanta Computer, according to the Commercial Times.
The company will also work with Asustek Computer for developing mobile handsets capable of supporting WiMAX as well as GSM platforms. The newspaper also reported that Asustek intends to market "Eee" PCs containing WiMAX chips in 2008.
