Changfei Participates in Broadband Network Construction of China Telecom.(contract for fiber optic cables)(Brief Article)

On August 24, 2000, Changfei Fiber and Optical Cable Ltd. signed a contract with China Telecom for the supply of fiber optic cables to the Beijing-Tianjin-Jinan-Ningbo cable network, which is the first large-capacity and long-distance cable line of China Telecom's Tenth Five-Year-Plan construction.
According to the contract, Changfei will provide 50,000 km of G.655 optic fiber and 531 km of 64-core G.655 optic cable.
By supplying G.655 fiber products massively, Changfei has expanded its market share in the supply of optical fiber and cable market in China. It has also put price pressure on the G.655 fibers in the country.
