PCCW and China Unicom to develop China's Yellow Pages market.(Brief Article)

Pacific Century CyberWorks (PCCW) and China Unicorn are teaming up to further develop the Greater China and global Chinese on-line and physical Yellow Pages market. PCCW will invest US$25.6 million to acquire 37.65 percent of ChinaBiG, China's most comprehensive on-line business directory and business information guide, serving Chinese people worldwide and those interested in doing business in or with China.
PCCW will become the largest shareholder and have operational management of the Chinese and English language Yellow Pages franchise. Its strategic partner, China Unicorn - one of the two largest government approved telecommunications carriers in mainland China - holds 31 percent through China Unicorn (Hong Kong).
