AsiaInfo Wins Multiple Contracts from China Mobile to Grow Wireless Data Services.(Brief Article)
China Telecom, July, 2001
AsiaInfo Holdings Inc. announced that it has signed multiple contracts with China Mobile to provide integration services and its flagship software products to enable the customer to offer value-added wireless data services. The contracts are valued at more than US$1.6 million in total, 50 percent of which is for software and services.
AsiaInfo's convergent billing and customer management software (AICBS) will be deployed in Chongqing and Sichuan for wireless data services provisioning, billing clearance, and data analysis for business decision support. In the fourth largest province and the largest city in China -- with a total population of 114 million, Sichuan Mobile and Chongqing Mobile are serving a large base of mobile users.
