Alcatel's Litespan 1540 Multiservice Access Node has won type approval from China's Ministry of Information Industry, which paves the way for its wide adoption by telecom operators in China.
Telecommunication operators use the Alcatel Litespan 1540 system to provide their customers a single point of access for voice, data and high-speed Internet services on the existing copper wire network, supporting a variety of services over the last mile to the end user.
