Ericsson Further Expands China Mobile's IP Backbone Network.(LM Ericsson Telephone Co. contract with China Mobile Communications Corporation)(Brief Article)

Ericsson announced it will build out the provincial IP backbone networks for Chinese mobile operators Shandong Mobile, Shanxi Mobile and Inner Mongolia Mobile, all subsidiaries of China Mobile Communications Corporation (China Mobile), with its leading IP Backbone Routers and services.
Under the contract with Shandong Mobile, Ericsson will provide its industry leading AXI 520 IP Backbone Routers (based on Juniper Networks M40) for the operator's provincial IP backbone network. Ericsson will also supply extensive customer services, such as installation, support and training. The network will carry GPRS mobile services and a variety of data, voice and multimedia services.
