Huawei to Provide Optical Network Equipment to Thailand, Germany and Spain. (Fiber Optics).(Brief Article)(Statistical Data Included)

Huawei Technologies, a telecom equipment producer in China, was awarded a series of contracts to provide its optical network equipment to Thailand, Germany and Spain. Its overseas sales account for 15 percent of the company's total revenue.
Under the contract with Thai Telephone & Telecom Public Co. (TT&T), Huawei will provide its SDH equipment, to build a nationwide telecom backbone covering the eastern and northern parts of Thailand. This is Huawei's second venture into Thailand's telecom market after it was contracted to build a transmission network for Thailand's TOT operator. In Germany, Huawei was contracted by Chemtel to build a metropolitan area network (MAN) in Chemnitz, Sachsen. The company will provide its DWDM-OptiX Metro 6100 equipment to Chemtel....
