China Netcom to Join GRIC Communications Broadband Wireless Network. (Other Developments).(Brief Article)

GRIC Communications Inc. and China Netcom Corp., Ltd. will offer high-speed broadband wireless access to the Internet and corporate networks to business travelers in China. China Netcom will make its network of Wi-Fi (802.11b) compliant broadband wireless access points available to members of the GRIC Alliance Network. China Netcom has a total of 13 active wireless access points in China, and will have more than 60 by early 2002.
