Qualcomm Wins Commercial Subscriber License Agreement with Qingdao Hisense. (Wireless).(Brief Article)

Qualcomm won a commercial subscriber unit license agreement with Qingdao Hisense Group, a major electronic producer in China. Under the terms of the license agreement, Qualcomm granted Hisense Group a license under Qualcomm's CDMA patent portfolio to develop, manufacture and sell cdmaOne and third-generation (3G) CDMA2000 1X/1xEV subscriber equipment.
Hisense Group will pay Qualcomm ongoing royalties at the same rate, irrespective of the licensed CDMA standard implemented.
