China Unicom extends Digiquant billing solution across 5700 E1s. (Internet).(Brief Article)
China Telecom, February, 2002
China Unicom has upgraded its existing license for Digiquant's billing solution in support of the carrier's Phase 3 rollout of its VoIP network service. Under the terms of these latest agreements, Digiquant's solution will be used to manage and bill for post-paid VoIP and voice VPN services over an additional 1500 El s. With the completion of Phase 3, the Digiquant solution will be managing and billing the services for 5700 Els deployed across China.
China Unicom plans to integrate voice VPN services with its other VoIP service offerings as well as its GSM network, which will allow the operator to offer multi-network, multi-service bundles with nationwide billing. Over 70 telecommunications companies and service providers use Digiquant billing solutions worldwide.
