AsiaInfo wins multiple contracts from China Unicom for provincial network expansion. (Software and Value-Added Services).(Brief Article)

AsiaInfo Holdings Inc. announced that it has signed multiple contracts with China Unicom to expand the carrier's provincial data networks and provide them with AsiaInfo's billing software: AIOBS and AICBS.
AsiaInfo will upgrade and expand China Unicom's data networks in the provinces of Ningxia, Qinghai, Hainan and Beijing. AsiaInfo, rapidly gaining market share in the provincial network infrastructure market, has now been commissioned by China Unicom to build data networks and provide IP billing and customer care software in 12 out of 31 provinces, in addition to having built the carrier's national backbone.
