Artel Video Systems, a leading technology provider of video transport solutions to the cable television, satellite and telecommunication industries announced it has signed Shanghai Yao Sheng Network Technology Co., as a premier channel partner in the Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong and Fujian provinces of China. Under the terms of the agreement Shanghai will be responsible for the sales and service of Artel equipment in these provinces. The agreement includes Artel's single and multi-channel dark-fiber products, as well as Artel's Cross Stream line for transmission of high-quality MPEG-2 video over packet-based networks.
