Vyyo Inc., a supplier of fixed wireless broadband end-to-end solutions for wireless telephony and high-speed data connections, announced that China Netcom Inc., the second largest telecom operator in China, has deployed Vyyo's wireless broadband solutions in six major cities with another city currently in the implementation phase. These systems serve as the basis for China Netcom's high-performance Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) network and are installed and integrated by one of Vyyo's system integrators, Wuhan Research Institute (WRI).
