Huawei awarded 1.2 million ADSL new contract by China Netcom.(News from Huawei)(Brief Article)
China Telecom, January, 2004
Huawei has been awarded a new contract by China Netcom to build over 1.2 million ADSL lines, about 50 percent of the market share of the tender after it won a contract of more than two million ADSL lines from China Telecom in November 2003.
Until now, Huawei's SmartAX series has been providing over ten million lines to countries and regions including Brazil, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, France, and Hong Kong, making Huawei a leading player in this arena.
