Oki Electric Industry Co. Ltd. announced that it has opened two new offices in China for its semiconductor business to enhance customer support and marketing activities. The two semiconductor offices are located in Beijing and Shenzhen, and bring the total to four semiconductor offices in China, following those in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
With the two new offices, Oki aims to reach a target of 50 billion yen for its semiconductor sales in China by the fiscal year ending March 2006; a three-fold increase from that of sales in the fiscal year ending March 2004.
