Qiao Xing signs deal to provide up to 40,000 cordless telephones per month to Samsung subsidiary.(Qiao Xing Universal Telephone Inc. )(Brief Article)

Qiao Xing Universal Telephone has signed a general sales and purchase agreement with Novita, a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, under which Qiao Xing will provide Novita with its self-developed cordless telephones. Novita has already placed a trial order for 4,000 Qiao Xing cordless telephone sets.
If sales of these cordless phones reach the maximum amount set out in the agreement between Qiao Xing and Novita, the Chinese telephone maker would see revenues of approximately US$20 million from the deal within 12 months of the first shipment.
Novita produces and exports telephones and other small home appliances such as humidifiers, electronic bidets, and electric rice cookers.
