Lucent Technologies Project first to be accepted among all vendors involved in China Unicom's MISN Project.(NEXT GEN NETWORKS)

Lucent Technologies announced Project Acceptance for Basic Services by China Unicom for the Lucent-supplied Shandong Metro Integrated Service Network (MISN), which makes Lucent the only vendor that has passed such a test in the ongoing China Unicom MISN projects nationwide. The announcement highlights Lucent's competence in next-generation networks (NGN) and strong local capabilities, and marks a significant milestone in the collaborative relationship between the company and China Unicom, one of the largest operators in China.
