Entone solutions to support PCCW's IPTV.(IPTV)(Pacific Century CyberWorks Ltd.)(Internet Protocol Television)(Brief Article)

Entone Technologies, the leading provider of television applications, has inked a deal with IPTV service provider PCCW for supporting the latter's new video-on-demand offerings in Hong Kong. As per the deal, Entone will supply an entire range of IPTV applications that enable the creation and transmission of digital images. PCCW is the second largest company in Hong Kong's digital television market, providing services to around 450,000 customers.
The Company's broadband TV offering includes 73 video channels apart from 15 subscribed audio channels. PCCW also enjoys exclusive rights to deliver two of the world's popular sports channels in Hong Kong.
