China telecom and MII promote AaaHaa media PVR.(China Telecom (Hong Kong) Group Ltd. appreciates personal video recorders)

At the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Telecom World 2006 held in December in Hong Kong, China Telecom showcased the AaaHaa Media personal video recorder (PVR) as one of its key home entertainment center (HEC) products in China Telecom's new "e-Home" product line. The official Web site of China's Ministry of Information Industries (MII), www.cnii.com.cn report describes the AaaHaa Media PVR as a "revolutionary home entertainment product" because "it changes traditional passive ways of TV viewing." The PVR product, based on proprietary AaaHaa technology and supported by AaaHaa's exclusive EPG data services, is currently in field trial in China, and is expected to be launched into the market by licensed Chinese manufacturers in the first half of 2007.
