China Telecom appoints Zhang Chenshuang as new executive vice president.(TOP NEWS)
China Telecom, August, 2007
China Telecom has appointed Zhang Chenshuang as its new executive director and executive vice president. Mr. Zhang Chenshuang was previously executive director and president of China Mobile. China Telecom said that ex-executive vice president Huang Weilin has submitted her resignation. She will also step down as executive director following the subsequent shareholder meeting. Huang is likely to serve China Mobile. Media reports suggest that this new appointment would enable China Telecom to create new mobile services after it gets its 3G license.
