Avtec Provides High-Speed Telemetry Processing Systems to Swedish Space Corp. and Universal Space Networks Inc. for Coriolis Ground System.(Brief Article)

Avtec Systems announced that the Swedish Space Corp. (SSC) of Solna, Sweden and Universal Space Network (USN) of Horsham, PA have selected Avtec's PTP-EX (programmable telemetry processor) system for the Coriolis mission ground station operations. According to Avtec director of sales and marketing, Rob Ritter, PTP-EX systems will support the Coriolis mission's telemetry operations with downlink rates of 50 Mbps.

SSC and USN have joined forces to create PrioraNet, a worldwide network of satellite ground stations. PrioraNet services earth-orbiting satellites with communications and ground support.
