Loral Space & Communications reported its financial results for the three months and year ended December 31, 2001, and provided guidance for 2002 performance. Highlights include:
- For the year, Loral EBITDA rose 71 percent and Loral Skynet EBITDA was up 35 percent.
- Per share performance improved over 2000 and exceeded company and analyst expectations. Fourth quarter loss was 13Cents per share; full year loss was 86Cents per share.
- Cash and available credits at December 31, 2001, reached $229 million, significantly better than forecast.
