Cable & Wireless (C&W) has been awarded a three-year contract to manage an IP data network for Glanbia, an international food company.
The network will span 100 sites across the UK and the Republic of Ireland, integrating billing, production, delivery and other customer management information for Glanbia.
C&W is to provide router configuration, software upgrades and continuous network monitoring. It is said that C&W's input will significantly reduce costs for Glanbia, although details of any savings have not been released.
