Brazil's largest mobile operator Vivo selects Intec Telecom Systems to consolidate mediation platforms.(Portugal)(Brief Article)

Telefonica Moviles and Portugal Telecom wireless joint venture Vivo signed a contract with global operations support systems (OSS) provider Intec Telecom Systems for Intec's Inter-mediatE to collect and process over 215 million voice and IP/data calls daily.

Vivo will use Intec's mobile mediation solution to consolidate six different companies throughout Brazil into one data collection center. The contract includes Intec's Inter-mediatE(TM) convergent mobile mediation platform with Duplicate and Correlation Manager, as well as Inter-mediatE Reporting. Vivo joins several other major service providers in North America and Europe who have recently chosen to consolidate multiple companies or platforms onto a single convergent Inter-mediatE platform.
