Portugal telecom plans to use SupportSoft software.(PORTUGAL)(Brief Article)

Portugal Telecom (PT) is planning to use SupportSoft service automation software to offer improved broadband services and multichannel support for PT.COM. SupportSoft Inc. is a Real-Time Service Management (RTSM(TM)) software provider. Portugal Telecom is a major provider of multimedia and telecom services in the country.

PT.COM is an ADSL service provider. Its Sapo service offers high-speed connections. PT is also planning to use SupportSoft's other software, such as RemoteAssist(TM) and LiveAssist(TM) for facilitating remote problem diagnosis. According to Mark Forrest, vice president and managing director of EMEA operations for SupportSoft, PT with the help of SupportSoft can improve customer satisfaction and facilitate triple-play service delivery.
