Bouygues Telecom to unveil ADSL service in France.(FRANCE)

European Telecom, August, 2007

Bouygues Telecom has confirmed its plan to unveil a nationwide ADSL service. The company has started to invite bulk service providers to place their offers. Although the company has not provided details, it was learned that various candidates have already submitted their proposals. Currently, the key bulk operators in France include Completel, Neuf Cegetel, and France Telecom.

Completel has already signed a deal with Bouygues Telecom for providing fixed-mobile services to business users. In 2006, Buoygues Telecom's offer to buy out Completel was not accepted due to pricing reasons.
