WeRoam, MTT enter agreement to provide international WLAN roaming to Russia.(RUSSIA)

Multiregional TransitTelecom, which provides domestic and international long-distance telecom services in Russia, and global WLAN roaming provider WeRoam have signed an agreement for providing international wireless local area network (WLAN) roaming to Russian operators and their user bases.

After successfully testing the service by the end of 2007, WeRoam and MTT have enabled outbound roaming to provide WeRoam's global hotspot network to the Russian Wi-Fi users. WeRoam, a trademark of Switzerland-based Comfone, has more than 35,000 Wi-Fi hotspots in 62 nations.
