The Dwyer Group reports a "bitter-sweet" moment as long-time information technology staff member Roger Redmond departs the corporate office to become the owner and operator of Dwyer Group's Mr. Appliance franchise, a residential and commercial appliance repair company. Redmond's decision was made easier by his qualifying for major discounts by being an employee and a veteran which qualified him for additional incentives via the VetFran program.

John P. Hayes, Ph.D, is now president and CEO of HomeVestors of America, Inc. He has been an advisor to HomeVestors for more than three years and was appointed to the company's board of directors in 2003.
