Education was the central focus ever since the U.S. Federal Trade Commission revised its Franchise Rule in early 2007. For those playing a role in how their companies conduct business, understanding the implications of the revisions were paramount. That is precisely why the IFA partnered with the association's legal counsel, DLA Piper US LLP to develop a program focused on educating franchisors and their legal counsel about the implications of the rule.
