The top brass of Hutchison-Essar group has undergone some changes.
The Executive Director Mr. Sandip Das has now been appointed as the deputy MD and is the second in command after Asim Ghosh, who is the MD. Earlier Mr. Das along with Mr. Rajiv Sawhney formed the second tier in the management, as Executive Directors. Mr. Rajiv Sawhney will move abroad to one of the locations of Hutchison Telecommunications International (HTIL). Most likely his posting is expected to be in Thailand.
Currently Hutch is in a consolidation spree in India and the company is likely to come out with an IPO in the first half of next year.
