Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited (VSNL) is one of the worldwide leaders in the business of submarine cable bandwidth. The company has now been appointed to administer the network for SEA-ME-WE4, a global consortium cable system. SEA-ME-WE4 (South East Asia, Middle East, and Western Europe) is a cable system, which will link three continents covering a 20,000-kilometer distance from France to Singapore.
The executive director of VSNL stated that the company had set up submarine cable bandwidth globally and, with SEA-ME-WE4, it will spread its networks in these three continents.
