GFA to sell Tata Indicom Wi-Fi service through its food counters.(WIRELESS)(Brief article)

India Telecom, April, 2006

GFA India owns "Coffee World" and "Pizza Corner" in India. The company plans to open 500 outlets in the coming five years. Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited (VSNL) has inked a deal with GFA India to offer its Tata Indicom Wi-Fi service at GFA India's food outlets. Customers will be able to use their laptops in these Wi-Fi-enabled GFA food outlets.

Mr. Shashi Kalathil, president of the Broadband and Retail Business Unit of VSNL, stated that the company has been endeavoring to meet customers' needs, and the tie-up with GFA India will enable them to use their time more efficiently and productively.
