Geosoft Inc. has upgraded its exploration geochemistry software application, called Chimera. The software, which is designed for the company's Oasis montaj[TM] platform, enables users to import geochemical data and then to use a range of tools to visualise, present, evaluate and validate data quality, perform multivariate analysis and make subsets of data populations. In addition, the software can visualise and integrate multi-disciplinary data; it can be used in the design and layout of maps; it can accurately and clearly contour grids; it can perform basic grid analysis; and it can perform kriging.
