Guenter-Schlesinger appointed to affirmative action committee

Sue Guenter-Schlesinger, executive director of Western Washington University's Equal Opportunity Office, has been appointed to Gov. Chris Gregoire's Affirmative Action Policy Committee, and will serve through 2011. Guenter-Schlesinger has been at Western since 2005. She earned her doctorate in Higher Education Administration from UCLA in 1979.
The role of this committee is to advise the governor on affirmative action policies.
