WWU appoints Blank as Ross Distinguished Professor

The College of Business and Economics at Western Washington University appointed Stephen Blank as its Ross Distinguished Professor of Canada-United States Business and Economic Relations. As Ross chair, Blank will engage in teaching, community outreach and scholarly activity related to business and economic relations between Canada and the United States.
Blank is co-chair of the North American Transportation Competitiveness Research Council and serves as senior fellow at the North American Center for Transborder Studies at Arizona State University, at Columbia University's Center for Energy, Marine Transport and Public Policy, and at the Center for International Governance Innovation.
During the 2008 fall quarter, Blank will teach MBA 539, Topics in International Business, offered by Western's College of Business and Economics.
