Hyosung is the new name for Tongyang Nylon Inc., operating in the textile business group within the Hyosung Corporation. The firm produces tyre cord, yarn, steel cord and bead wire.
The most newsworthy product on the stand will be the firm's Ulsan range of materials based on polyester and PEN (polyethylene naphthalate), and its Eonyang, range of steelcord and bead wire. Hyosung has been making stiff, dimensionally stable PET yarns since 1978, and can supply these as yarn, textile, or as pre-dipped materials ready for calendering.
