CIA gives Tom Swan award.(ERJ newsbriefs)(Chemical Industries Association)

London -- Tom Swan, owner and chairman of chemical supplier Thomas Swan & Co., of Consett. UK, has gained a special award from the UK's Chemical Industries Association.
Praising Swan's "outstanding leadership and personal dedication" the CIA said Swan's contribution has had, "measurable and lasting benefits to the UK chemical industry."
His firm achieved a "public favourability rating in Consett that is three times the chemical industry average across the UK," said a CIA statement.
Swan's product range include peptisers, bonding agents, adhesion promoters for rubber-metal and rubber-textile systems and thickeners for latex compounds.
