Cascade Learning Solutions is now Focal Point Learning Solutions, and the Wenatchee-based business that was started in 1999 also has a new home at 115 S. Chelan Ave.

The new name supports the company's long-term goal of expanding service beyond North Central Washington, according to company founder Kathy Hawley.

"We chose the name Focal Point because it says what we do," Hawley said. "Focusing the brain is the most important part of learning. That's what we teach."

Focal Point Learning Solutions offers educational therapy to struggling students--children and adults who can learn focusing techniques to use their brain differently, which makes learning easier.
