Bernadette O'Donnell has joined The Wenatchee Business Journal staff as a reporter, replacing Darlene Schneider, who took a marketing job in Moscow, Idaho.
O'Donnell, 25, was born in Newport Beach, Calif., but moved to Wenatchee when she was 18 months old. She graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1998, and attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, getting her degree in journalism with a concentration in black and white photography.
After university, O'Donnell volunteered with a Catholic Lay missionary group based in Abbeville, La., located about two hours west of New Orleans.
O'Donnell, along with two other missionaries, traveled to Mexico, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore in just over a year. After returning, O'Donnell worked for...
