Dr. Samuel Ortiz, MD, FACP, with Central Washington Hospital Internal Medicine, has received recognition as a newly elected Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Ortiz will receive this recognition in an awards ceremony during the society's Annual Session April 6-8 in Philadelphia.
Ortiz was elected a Fellow in 2005 for achievements in internal medicine, the specialty of adult medical care. During this year's ceremony, he and other internists will take a pledge reaffirming their dedication in internal medicine. Ortiz will also attend the ACP Annual Session to stay current in medical advances.
Ortiz is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
