Pet-sitting service now picks up and delivers.(Pets-on-the-Go Pet Shuttle Service, Home and Pet Security)

Next time you see a pet hitching a ride in someone's vehicle, you may not just be looking at a spoiled dog or cat. You may be looking at an entrepreneurial endeavor.
Jim Hawkes, a janitor at Central Washington Hospital for the past two years, has been a part-time pet sitter for 11 years, working under the business name Home and Pet Security.
In December, he added Pets-on-the-Go Pet Shuttle Service, where he will chauffeur his customer's pets to and from the veterinarian or wherever they need to go.
Hawkes said he waited this long to start the shuttle service because he was saving money to buy a new vehicle. He has now traded in his Ford Pinto for a pickup truck.
