The Wenatchee Police Department has hired two new officers.

Brian Chance was hired in July. He grew up in Port Angeles and attended Central Washington University. He was a police officer in Ellensburg before coming to Wenatchee.

Scott Reiber was hired in November. He is a certified bomb technician. He grew up in the Orondo area and attended high school in Waterville. He worked for two-and-a-half years at the Richland Police Department before coming to Wenatchee.
