Movie Gallery Inc., the parent company of Movie Gallery and Hollywood Video rental stores, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Oct. 16.
The company plans to close 520 U.S. stores as part of the restructuring, but East Wenatchee's Hollywood Video at 595 Grand Road, is not one of them, according to company spokesman Andrew Siegel of the corporate communications firm Joele Frank, Wilkinson Brimmer Katcher.
