SBDC noted for loan assistance.(Small Business Development Center)(Brief Article)

The Edmonds Community College Small Business Development Center located in the Quadrant I-5 Corporate Park in Everett, won this year's "Million-Dollar Award" from the United States Small Business Administration for its work in assisting business owners obtain financing.
The center helped clients get $2.2 million in business financing for loans and lines of credit. Center Director Ron Battles received the award on the center's behalf. Battles has been with the SBDC in Everett since 1999 and with the organization since 1996. In that time has assisted clients get more than $10.2 million in financing.
