Will It Work? is an EBJ civic series in which authorities in the business community give constructive criticism to the business plan of a new business owner.
When Boeing Co. announced late last year that it would lay off about 35,000 employees worldwide, Jana Smith knew the time was right to put her idea into play.
She had been saving money, getting up to $8,000, to get her own business started. She quit her consulting position at Kirkland-based Best Consulting and in January, started Superior Career Solutions.
