Human Resource organization to hold silent auction. (The Buzz).(Society for Human Resource Management)(Brief Article)

As it has for the past four years, the Society for Human Resource Management is holding a silent auction in December that will provide funding for human resource research, publications and educational programs. This year, 5o percent of the money raised will go toward helping young adults find housing in addition to life skills lessons.
The New Ground nonprofit teaches those 18 to 21 years old life, coping and leadership skills while providing a place to sleep.
Last year the auction raised $1,200. The human resource organization is encouraging contributions such as gift baskets, jewelry, gift certificates, coffee, household items and the like.
The auction is 4-6 p.m., Thursday, December 13 at the Holiday Inn in south Everett. For more information call (425) 486-9154.
