Stock of Cascade Financial Corp., the parent company of Everett-based Cascade Bank, split 5-to-4, effective Dec. 19.
The stock split is being offered in lieu of a cash dividend. Stockholders will receive 25 additional shares for every 100 shares owned. A cash payment will be offered for fractional sales.
The move will add 1.7 million shares of stock, bringing the number of Cascade shares to 8.3 million.
In October, the bank reported its twelfth consecutive quarterly profit
