TENASKA POWER FUND TO ACQUIRE CHICAGO POWER PLANT.

Tenaska Capital Management, LLC, Omaha, Neb., manager of the Tenaska Power Fund, L.P., has signed an agreement to acquire Calumet Energy Team, LLC and CET One, LLC, subsidiaries of Wisconsin Energy Corporation and owners of a nominal 308-megawatt (MW) natural gas-fired peaking power facility in Chicago, Illinois, for approximately $38 million. The sale is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in June 2005.

This is the Fund's second acquisition in 2005. Its first acquisition, a 315-MW power plant in Virginia, was announced in January.
