The quantities of cereals tendered at the time of the 1 March meeting of the European Commission's Cereals Management Committee concerned sales in the internal market of the Community, mainly for the cattle feeding industries. The committee tendered 111,120 tons on the internal market, but nothing on the export market to third countries.
Of the 111,120 tons, the bulk (92,441 tons) comes from German intervention stocks of common wheat. (EVP)
